While Luke is into chess and watching sports, playing computer games with his friends online is his ideal weekend. But gaming isn’t the only thing that he loves about computers – he’s amazed by how far we’ve come and how much we’ve achieved with technology.
That’s why, if Luke could have lunch with any historical figure, he’d be thrilled to meet Alan Turing. Luke sees him as a visionary man with a lot of insight, and the development of computing would make for good discussion over a couple Reuben sandwiches!
We asked Luke: What is an interesting fact about yourself that may surprise people?
A: I represented NZ in Under-14 and Under-16 baseball as a pitcher and a catcher against Australia in the late 1990s.
